Default Focus mk1 headlight bulb casing

I bought some super bright headlight bulbs from halfords today and got the guy to fit it but I think he f***** up coz I think he dropped the metal clip that goes on the black bulb case. But he said he can't remember dropping it and it might not hav been on in the first place, (and he gave me discount for fitting). Hmmmmm.....so anyway the case is only loosely covering the bulb area. Is it important for me to buy a new clip and put this on? Or can I get away with the bulb bit being slightly exposed? The clip I am referring to is a metal one!

Thanks

Yes you need to have it sealed properly or it will steam up and fill up with crap eventually! I'd secure it with tape or something until you can get another clip!
