After servicing my dads car the other day, ford fusion 1.4TDCI, I noticed there was a fuel leak, on futher inspection I noticed that the hose that runs under the air box across the top of the engine to the hand prime pump had not one but 2 splits in it.

Fords want to charge £130 as it comes as a complete kit including prime pump, anyone know where i can get one cheaper?

Forgot to say if you or the missus have one please check as it could catch fire, lucky its on the opposite side of the engine not near the turbo

They are a common fault as have had them on Peugeots which cause difficult starting not sure what they cost but try a peugeot garage as they might be cheaper and if my memory serves me the fiesta is the same pipes as the 206 hope this helps
