does anyone know the correct way of fitting a fan belt onto a mk1 1.8 zetec focus without A/c , i have looked for diagrams everywhere but not found any ................. thanks

can you not take a pic of the car in question before you remove the belt.

the hardest bit is fitting the new belt over the tensioner as the tensioner has a tough old spring in it and the new belt is un-stretched so very tight.

 

Draw a pic before you take it off.

 

just put it in google then click on images iv just had a look and theres lots on there

 

belt snapped of so cant tell what way it goes on

 

not for the 1.8 ,,,,,,,, loads for 2.0

 

its exactly the same 1.8 and 2l

 

been looking but still cant find anything that tells me what the routing is

 

Buy a haynes manual, it's in there, certainly for the mondy, so can't see why the focus manual wouldn't have it.
