Default erst fuel regulator (upgrade)

hi i have an erst running mfi i want to fit an after market ajustable fuel pressure regulator i have two pipes going to standed regulator

can i block the smalist off ????

or????

gis a clue whats best

afaik from reading in the rs turbo section the fuel pressure is set/ adjusted by the emfpr on the metering head,

you need to look into how k-jet works, the fuel pressure is what determines the ammount of fuel going in, its not like an efi car with pulsewidth modulated injectors at a constant pressure accross the injector

electro magnetic fuel pressure regulator

Have you checked the fuel filter is free flowing, is the fuel pump good, with sufficent voltage and a good earth connection

ar thanks i have checked all that and all seams ok so in the manual it shows a fuel pressure regulator and its just after the mfi surely that holds the pressure and backs it up to the mfi at the right pressure

there is an accumulator in the system too

Adjustment screw on S2 Electro Magnetic Fuel Pressure Reg
is the adjustment the car to run rich or lean
am i right in saying this ??
