Ford Focus Front Electric window
Was told when I bought the car and paid £699 extra that services for 3 years were covered, that I did not have to worry about it for three years. My front electric driver's window motor has stopped working and not they tell me it will cost £390 to fix?????? I had to pay them £83 just for them to tell me exactly what I knew. I didn't want to pay but they refused to give me my car. I am very annoyed with the place where I purchased my car. I will try to sort it out, but in the mean time can someone tell me how to fix it myself?

They are defiently taking you for a fool sorry to say, YOU need to stand your place, they have obtained money by deception in the fact you have paid for a service you haven't/are not receiving. I certainly would not have paid the money!
Have you got it in writing?
It certainly would not cost £390 either, at the end of the day it's an electric window (most expensive part is likely to be the motor!)
Basically you need to verify the motor is getting power when switched and it actually works, and also check the regulator and the switch is ok.
I presume this isn't a Ford dealer? In any case name and shame!

Push down on the glass with two hands on either side as someone operates the switch. If it works, then try greasing the runners. I bet the auto down mechanism is faulty, as the spring goes weak over time.
