Default Rear springs on a saph cosworth

Which way up do the rear spring go on me cosworth i cant remember or doesnt it matter cheers

Looking through peoples resto pages, everyones are different. I reinstalled mine with the writing the right way up, meaning the shorter coils are ant the top and longer coils at the bottom.

If they are progressively wound springs, then the tighter coil pitch should be at the top.
