Hi peeps

Can anyone tell me what servo will fit a MK4 Escort Cabriolet?

It used to be a Tennis but had a conversion done and a RS turbo engine has been fitted.

So basically will any other servo fit it as a direct replacement, or can an uprated one be fitted with maybe some modification etc?

Car didn't sell so will be taking it off the road now to spend some money and time on it

I would guess any mk4 servo would fit, just measure, from memory there is quite a bit of room around the servo as they're remote on these ?

So are the RS and a standard/XR3i ones the same?
Would they RS one not be more sturdy as the brakes should be bigger etc?

 

all the same, as tab said. rs turbo ones are the same also, its only the discs that are bigger.

But what I also wanted to know was would say a servo from a Cosworth fit or a Mondeo ST or any other or is it just Escort MK4's fit Escort MK4's?

get one and try it, anything can be done with a bit of creativity and a mig welder.
