Default Big problems using Dreamscience

Just bought a DSF3000 and after talking to dreamscape on the phone and them telling me I just had to unlock the unit and it would be ok.
The previous owner used it on a 2002 thunder and my car is a '99 millennium. He told me there were 4 lives left after only using it once.
Just tried it and I think I may have wiped the chip in the ECU.
When I tried to load a tune,it just failed after about 70% of downlaoding giving an error message.
I then put it back to stock but now there is absolutely nothing when I turn the key, just lots of lights on the dash.
Any help or ideas to get this sorted would be appreciated............
Paul

A DSF3000 is the custom tuning unit for mapping yourself isn't it, not the plug and play job?

What is a 2002 thunder and a 99 millenium anyway?

It is plug and play as far as I am aware for the ford puma
The cars mentioned.......ford puma thunder 02 plate.....ford puma millenium 'V' plate.
I thought this was a ford forum

Yes this is a ford forum, but a fair few different models used the thunder and the millenium editions, so how is anyone to know what you're on about.

The DSF3000 is a custom tune unit, so you can load any map onto it that you like, not just the ones that are preloaded by DS.

My dreamscience unit has a failsafe so just incase it does cock up, then it will automatically reset and stick the standard map back to the car for you. I take it this didn't happen?

Sorry for the remark,I did not realise they used the millenium and thunder in other models me being a fiat man
Don't think so mate.
I tried downloading the stock prog. without any luck.
Hope I can just take the ECU,when I find it,back to ford as the car cannot be driven.
