Hi,
I have some problems fitting my escort cosworth wheels
My specs;

fiesta RS1800
Spax top adjustable shocks with Ford RS springs ( so no lowering)
PU bushes all the way :aviator:
Escort Cosworth rims with 205/45/16 goodyear eagle tyres ( the original rims and not the mondeo looks )
Steering limitter

My problem; when driving and hitting a small dent in the road the rear tyres will make contact with the body.

I have the shocks on max stiffness and still hitting the bodykit

I don't know what else i can do,

fit 195 wide tyres mate,that way you should have the clearance as the tyre will be slightly stretched.

 

yep same trouble when i fitted them to a mates fezzy
on lowest coil-over we stuck 185 they looked stunning very hard to fit but give that wide look

 

mm is that only way ? because the tyres are brand new
What size do you recommend ? 195/45/16 or 195/40/16

I don't want to stretch even more because it look's like a golf ( german/eurostyle look )

 

sell the 205 tyres on mate,then put that money towards 195,either that or chop your bodykit and arches
