Hi all,
Rebiuldin my car after the fire, got a another 4x4 engine loom, I have no fuel pump working.
Feeds are all ok to the relay, its not getting its earth trip to make relay work !
When I give the relay a earth it powers the pump fine.
What triggers the ecu to work the pump?
Runnin wasted spark as well, which is working.

crank or phase sensor normally, but my fuel pump primes as soon as I switch ignition on

 

The ecu will send a prime signal if it receives a crank signal, and other conditions are met(time, temp mainly), they won't always prime, but if running obviously the cps is ok, so need to check ecu output pin for pump relay earth, as ecu outputs to pump relay as soon as engine starts anyway.
