Hi all, my cossie has been standing for the last three months. Its time i started it up...... is there anything i need to do or look for? like dont rev the bollox off it.............

Best thing mate is check all oil and water is ok, then disconect the coil so the engine wont start turn it over for a bit until the oil light goes out. then reconnect and start let it idle and reach full temp make sure fans cut in etc...

Oh might be worth giving the battery a good charge before hand to prevent heavy load on the alternator..

Forgot to mention that the fuel may of gone stangnent, dont hammer it untill you treat it to a fresh tank of Optimax
