Best thing mate is check all oil and water is ok, then disconect the coil so the engine wont start turn it over for a bit until the oil light goes out. then reconnect and start let it idle and reach full temp make sure fans cut in etc...

Oh might be worth giving the battery a good charge before hand to prevent heavy load on the alternator..
