Default RS Turbo Lifters

Hey guys, at my wits end now so gonna see if you guys can tell me if it ok before I buy!! Car currently running solid lifters and I bloody well hate them so wanted to swap for hydraulic units. Cam was new 2500 miles ago. I know if you change lifters your meant to change cam but my worry is the cam may be damaged or the followers damaged because of diff mileage on parts? Also do kent do hydraulic lifters? or where best place to get them as it a kent cam and dont know if it an upgraded item I will need for it?

The hydraulic cam and cam for solid followers are normally different, the solid one has a different opening ramp to try and keep them quiet, termed a quietening ramp.

hi mate thanks for info, I think it is a hydraulic cam, it had rs1600i lifters inserted instead of hydraulics may this be why I seem to have the tappet noise? As I have readjusted them every week now and want rid off
