Default Sierra 2WD bad vibration ...

My 2wd vibrates quite bad and it is most noticable at a certain RPM.
It occurs both in gear and in neutral as well.

If it's a DIFF or Gearbox problem, would it still be doing it when rev'ing in neutral ? ...
I'm suspecting a gearbox mount, but haven't had time to check it yet and i'm guessing that some of you guys have experienced something similar.

Cheers
Thomas

more than likely to be your exhaust down pipe is catching the floor or bulk head due to worn engine mounts or their loose!

ive got the same problem atm and im 90% sure mines gearbox mount only way i can guess it really is when i push down on the gearstick you can feel/hear the change in vibration, but it could still be the engine mounts, new ones from ford are £90 each round here hence why i still havent done mine lol, id say its more then likely engine or gearbox mount bushes though

The engine mounts where replaced 3-4 months ago with brand new OEM mounts .... So gearbox mount is probably the fault. I will check out the downpipe as well ...

Thanks for all inputs.
