You need to change the word easy to mental.
It would be mental to use sierra beam etc, all the fabrication needed you'd stil end up with a inferior product, sierra rear beam/suspension is nothing to shout about, it's fairly shit tbh,

Simple. DONT DO IT. Stick with the live rear axle or you'd be ruining the good old escort in my opinion. Cossie engine- yes. T5 box- yes. Rear suspension set up- no.
Well, maybe a 6degree rear beam and adjustable arms would be ok.
But alot of fabrication work involved to end up with an escort that would probably be heavier and not handle as well

If you want to be different then fit a Nissan S13 subframe setup. I've just decided to use this setup over a Atlas on a mates Volvo to keep the costs down. GTS-T auto Skylines use 4.1 cwp's so use the diff from one of those. Everything is available for those setups, mainly from Driftworks etc.
