Default Reusing engine bolts

Hi, I have arp bolts on the conrods and the head has nut and bolt kit I can reuse but the main bearing cap bolts are normal items I think can these be reused?
Many thanks.

NO, con rod bolts on the YB are stretch bolts, would be a gamble imo, stud and nut kit fine though.

Tabetha the con rod bolts are ARPs, reuse? I have them in now with a bit of grey grease on them and tightened to 60 ft/lb.
It was the mains I was on about first of all.

the technical answer is "unless you know they havent been passed there yield point you shouldnt reuse" but to know this you really need to know the length of each bold before they was first used.

you cant just take a standard length, as they all very from factory. you need to measure to the nearest 10 micros
