I've just had the same problem. Ordered a Sytech one from eBay and it doesn't fit.

A adaptor could be made fairly easy, but would need either a existing fitting or detailed drawing.

Got mine from "fuelpumpsonline", rang them, they just wanted to refund me, not sort out another one! I even sent some pics to explain the problem, was told that they have been sending these out for years for a 4x4 saph, no way will it fit.
Just want to find one asap!

When the O ring is in, there is a 1 inch gap before the flanges meet!!!!!

Same problem, they just wanted to refund me rather than help find me one that fits.

Cant you just slot two pieces of 6mm id solid thick wall aluminium tube and use some longer bolts, or cut off the flange and have a -6 fitting silver soldered in...

As long as it holds the 'O' ring in place it will seal.....

I prefer aeroquip fittings on the fuel rails myself, I dont like push on type connections on high pressure fuel lines...

Defeats the object of buying an off the shelf adapter really. I think it's the route I will take, just thick it will look a bit bodged.

I got your pm, just awaiting my infraction for "advertising" on this thread trying to help someone out, it's not allowed, it seems, got one on best brakes thread for mentioning that I had a bit if they wanted to buy it, even though they started the thread.

I've just now printed the piccie out on A4, and will pop in in the morning and see what he says, he may want a 4wd rail so it's exactly right but should be able to get one of these in the morning as well.

Hi,
I showed him the pic today, he said no problem to remove bracket from the hex bit and reweld(tig) in correct place, so fits perfect, wants rail and reg, £10-£15.
Pm me if wanted.
