Im building my ST170 turbo, the aim is 400bhp. I am using eagle rods, CP zetec pistons which gives me a compression ratio of around 8.4:1. My question is which turbo will be suitable for this spec, i have been comparing the compressor maps of a few turbos and the GT3071R looks like it might be suitable but with a 0.82 Turbine housing and anti surge cowel to prevent surge at low rpm.
Any thoughts, or shall i go for the T34 that is commom use? WHich is the best too, exhaust and inlet, im not sure the rover one will cope with 400bhp, and adrenaline and Area 6 have ceased trading???? Im planning to keep the VVT too so which would be a decent managment to run the VVT
