hi everyone, my 4x4 sappy blew its head and i need the head gasket sett and exhaust valves + seals, i tried to get the parts from ford but cannot find the engine number and thats what they need. in my opinion it looks like the engine number has been rubbed off. i now cannot progress with the work , can anyone help or direct me to somone who can?

Some people at Ford are idiots. You can get nedeed parts form tradrs o forums. E.g. PM user "cossymad" :-D

There are lots of topics on headgaskets here on forum - for sure I wouldn' buy original Ford one if I were you.
