Can anyone tell me how the worm drive comes out of the sump on a 4x4 Cosworth?

I have removed the 4 10mm bolts and can see a circlip on the inside.

I've bashed it a bit with a rubber mallett but it's not budging

tap out the roll pin on the rear of the worm drive barrel, then pull it out by the thread

should only be finger tight

 

Will this remove the casing as well? I need it off as it's going to the coaters tomorrow

 

ah. no idea. i thought you were changing the speedo drive

 

Casing is now off after a lot of bashing with a mallet and a block of wood.

The pin just wont budge! any ideas mate?
