2wd inlet, 4x4 inlet, spacers? Explain?
From reading it's clear the 4x4 inlet manifold has advantages over the 2wd one. I heard the 2WD one is good for 350bhp max?
Can someone give me a brief run down on what the differences are, and what it takes to put a 4x4 inlet on a 2wd, I heard fuel rail, Reg and something else?
Also - what's all this about spacers, 10mm, 14mm? Can they be put on either manifold, what's their advantages?
Thanks in advance.

the elbow is the restriction on the 2wd one, i think 4wd can flow up to 450iirc, the bigger the spacer the more power in theory but you will get a small increase in lag as the plenum chamber is bigger (hardly noticable for me), if you fit one its more simple to use a 14mm spacer as you dont have to modify the fuel rail mountings you just bolt it to the other side of the mounting,

As said 2wd elbow and plenum cover are seperate parts, 4wd are all one part, 2wd well up to more than 350bhp though, although there are differences in ability there's no point changing for the sake of it, unless you need to extra ability, ie the 2 piece 2wd one is not such a disaster that it needs junking.
