Default T reg 1999 Fan heater problems

Hello all...im new to the site, but was instantly attracted by the help i saw in threads regarding a problem I had.
I followed that advise which was to change the (burnt out) resister pack behind the glove box.. i changed the fuse in the engine compartment fuse box... and checked the wires for rust/damage..
Ive still got no fan..and in this current warm spell..its hellish hot.
I've got a non air-con version but miss the ability to blow warm air around the car.
Can anyone advise me where to check next ???
Thanks

i would check the relay under the bonnet. i think its R15 and will be a green relay.
i had a problem where the fans were constantly on, which resulted me in having to unplug them everytime i got out the car.
i pulled out the relay and gave it a bang, put it back in... the fans wouldnt turn on.
replaced the relay £26 from ford and all is well

A lot of the "ford" relays are generic relays so can be bought for £3-£4 in car shops, just check pin layout, there's two basic types, type A and type B.
