wont run all the time

Default wont run all the time

my 2 wd cossie has a problem it will only run 4 a few secs with the idle valve plug on if u take the plug of it will run longer but still cuts out any ideas plz this is drivin me mad

HI,

tricky, when the engine stops do you have a spark at the plugs, and is there any fuel at the injectors or in the fuel rail, check your 2 relays ie power relay and fuel pump relay inc fuses for them, also check your crank pulley lugs are clean, lugs x4, and check the air gap at the tdc sensor, also check air gap for phase sensor make sure tdc sensor is clean for a good signal, check all the other sensors map,, phase sensor, ignition amp etc for good clean connection, and check hoses for vacuum leaks, last check voltage at fuel pump 12v,the relays are yellow.

when it cuts out it will fire right back up but it just wont run long cheers for help so far i am goin 2 check all is clean and the gap on the crank sensor and phase sensor
