iv just bought a Y ford Ka drove it properly for the first time today had only gone about 10 miles when white smoke came out exhaust this happened once more on this journey it wasn t continuous and when i was coming back about 4 hours later the same thin g happened 3 times what's happening can anyone help?????

First thing you need to establish is if the car is looseing coolant? If so then this is a sure sign of H/G failure. Also check the oil filler cap for "mayonaise" like a white sludge this is from where the oil and coolant have mixed. It's not white smoke your seeing, it's steam from where the coolant is being boiled that is if the N/G is the culprit.

is it the 1.25 ka i think they maybe all are they are reknowend for head gaskets and over heating i have 4 cooked engines sitting in my garage and towed another lady in , in a 1.25 fiesta overheated luckily didnt get to the cooked stage as such
