Default Mk4 Escort Door removal

I will be swapping my rusty doors at the weekend for some nice shiny delocked ones.

I need to know how you guys would go about removing the door hinge pins, I have seen a door hinge pin removal tool for sale on some websites but it states its for hollow hinge pins, would this work?

I know i can unbolt the whole hinge from the car, but looking at it it looks like this is easier said than done with the dash bolted in place!

Cheers in advance

Pete

Am I best using a drill bit or something similar and a big fook off hammer to knock the pins out then?

Is this how everyone else does it - or is there a tool I should be buying?

after I pull the locking c clips I just use a hammer and punch, the reason I ask as the head looks kind of like a Torxbit or spline key headcap (they're still covered in paint) that need removing first, but you say that,, that is just the head(stopper) of the pins, and that there is nothing I need to un-BOLT,to remove the pins, normally I would un-BOLT the four hinge bolts but the door I bought to 're place my rotten ones, one was cut on the hinges,,,, so it's just remove c clip and just hammer the pins with force and a punch and possibly a bit of heat may help worse case, scenario?
