Default sierra cos electric windows not working

hi everyone , my neighbours got a sierra and his electric windows have stopped working all off a suden he said hes had a problem with the fan it keeps kicking in when the cars parked and draining his battery he took it a garage that apparently fixed it but now the windows have stopped working its probably just a coincedence but i was wondering if it could have been something they have done hwile trying to fix the fans also is there a fuse for the electrics windows ? cheers

electric windows fuse = 24

If he's been having issues with the radiator fans, then it's more than likely that the fan fuse area of the fuse box has melted (common problem) and the issue is melted wires in the fuse box touching others where they shouldn't.

Best bet would be to try to investigate the fuse box if a simple window fuse change doesn't sort out the problem.

yeh it was a blown fuse and looks like the relays gone , thanks for the help mate

Tell your friend to get his fan rewired immediately if still on the original wiring.
