Both at TDC mate!

With greatest respect though it doesnt sound like you know what your doing as MFI is both at TDC too, the timing is adjusted by the distributor. On the EFI the ecu controls the timing!

HI,
WHAT timing are you looking to set up, TDC for valve timing using
both pulleys, or ignition which i think from memory, cvh 12 degrees btdc.using bottom pulley, as far as i know all cvh engines are 12,btdc but if efi and setup using crank sensor ecu runs ignition timing. and valve timing done before bottom pulley is fitted forgot it was frst,

If you are timing the ignition, you can't.

If you are timing the stock cam, then align both marks.

If you are timing an aftermarket cam, then either measure it properly, or do as above and dyno tune it further.
