its easy to bypass the immobilser by buying a standard stop solenoid. this will bypass your PATS. hard part is fitting the stop solenoid.

can do but id change the timing belt afterwards. if your using the tdi (top mounted intercooler) engine, it can be easily tuned for an additional 20bhp

my old engine pulled for fun up to 120mph so im putting the turbo, fuel pump and inter cooler of the old engine onto the new one with a full timing belt kit, how do you get the extra 20 hp, i must add when i got the car there was no vacume pipes to any part of the turbo ?????? and there is still none but it still boosts

diesel tubos work in the same principle as a petrol one but doesnt create the vacuum in effect. its long boring process of explanation!!!! as long as its got an air feed, boost pipe to engine, exhaust feed, exhaust oulet and a wastegate your good. to gain an extra 20bhp, turn up the max fuel screww within the pump. adjsut the "on-boost" fueling and turn up the turbo pressure. in the link above theres other links to a video on youtube for tuning a td pug but the principle is the same for the td escort. for a good 140bhp+ get an fmic.

the actuator wont open up until it hits full boost! you wont get that by just reving it. get a boost gauge and fit that into the cabin.

td's dont have a dump valve as standard, dont fit one either. total waste of £££
