Please help me identify this engine.
I first let me say hello to all
I recently purchased a 1994 Ford Escort GT 1.6
I am wanting to do a service on it and need to buy plugs and HT leads to fit but I am having a bit of difficulty as they keep asking me if it is a Zetec or CVH engine as the parts are different.
I am fairly sure from digging around the net that it is a "Silver Top" Zetec (or Zeta if you prefere to be acurate )
What I need is someone to either verify or refute my findings.
Below are pictures of the engine itself and the ID plate on the front crossmember. And please excuse the dirty state of the engine I have not got around to jet washing it yet.
So what say you guys Zetec or no?

20K+ Super Poster.
Zeta was the ford codename whilst under development, it was intended to be called this also, unfortunately ford didn't do their homework as lacia owned the rights to the name ZETA.
