Hi All, New to the forum so please bear with me. I have got a problem with an early zetec engined 1996 escort 90bhp. If I feather the throttle it will pull ok, if I push a little harder it will splutter, if I push a little harder still it will pull again but if I try and boot it it feels like hitting the rev limiter and revs don't pick up or pick up extremely slowly. It also holds back when free reving. Any ideas would be greatly received. It has been serviced ie plugs/filters and has a new oxygen sensor and I've tried changing the airflow meter.
