Have just fitted a 1800 zetec into my kit car, running on twin40 webers, need to wire the ecu to run ignition system, have original key ecu & transponder, has any one successfully done this, if so do you have a wiring diagram. Thanks Martin.

 

don't know about original ecu but you can get a mega jolt ecu and wiring for a couple of hundred quid.

 

Dont think it can be done as d16pjm says as closed loop for fuel / emissions etc would probably put engine in limp home mode.But if you still want to try, look for ford tis cd on ebay they are usually about a fiver and include a range of engines especially zetecs
