Hi every1, i have a slight tapping noise coming from under my sierra when sat on tick over. when sat in the car it sounds like the cams, but listening to the engine the only noise is the injectors ticking. it comes from around where the down pipe and center section of the exhaust meet. does any1 have any ideas or is this normal

It could be tappets? If CVH Sierra they are hydraulic I think DOHC is as well, Pinto are solids which are adjustable. Release bearing is generally more a "whirring" noise and if so it will disappear when clutch is depressed.
If defiantly under car as sounds can be tricky as appear to be from elsewhere, I would check exhaust mountings.
