Default 1995 mk3 fiesta indicators wont work

Hi, i just bought a 1995 mk3 1100 fiesta classic quartz. but the indicators and washer jets dont work.

i've tried changing the indicator relay, and the fuses...but to no avail.

i had a look at the earth points and they look fine.

could anyone help please? i cant really go for a spin if i dont have indicators :/ and i realllliii wanna go for a drive tonight!

i have a basc mechanical knowledge, as my other car is a classic mini (1980 1275GT ) but i'm in the middle of restoring that, which is why i bought the fiesta. fed up of not driving. lol

Any help would be much appreciated.

Try the hazzard switch a few million times working on and off, these can often be the cause of the indicator problem, failing that down to basic fault finding, check for supply to indicator stalk from the flasher unit, this will be a live, you should also see two earths, one from each indicator(L&R).
Same basic fault finding for the pump.

Not a good idea doing any shorting, just get new switch.

All the leccy goes through the hazard switch, so yes if damaged will certainly be the problem but as said not a good idea to short just get a new switch.

As to the washer problem it could simply be the jets are blocked especially if not used much, easy way to tell is if you can hear the pump running, this requires the ignition to be on.
