Rst fuel issue.

I have been helping a friend drop an RST lump into his mk4 cabby. However, everything is in place and there is no fuel pressure between the metering unit and the injectors?
The engine was runnning fine in the rst it was in a few months ago. There is fuel pressure up to the metering unit, but nothing after?
Anyone have any ideas on certain faults with the metering unit that could cause this?
cheers.

Try pushing down the metering flap when you spin it over, this will open the valve inside to let fuel out, might just be a bit sticky/gummed up, if so spray plate and edges with carb cleaner.

did you change the tank and fuel pump, the RS runs alot higher pressure. If the MK4 cabby was running EFI management then the fuel pump would not work with the RS engine.

Everything has been swapped over. Fuel lines, tank, pump the lot.
Have tried pushing the flap as tabetha suggested but still no luck.
The fuel is coming through the metering unit, but only a slight dribble compared to what it should be.
I think essex might be onto something with the regulator tho?
