Try and keep this short but informative.
90% complete on a ST170 throttle body build. Had her running on the dyno but fuel pressure wasnt all that great.
Removed the ST170 rail with welded reg and replaced for blacktop rail with adjustable reg. Upon replacing the rail i unplugged the fuel pressure sensor which is not compatible with the blacktop rail.
I have run the return from the blacktop rail back to the tank. The tank is also from a zetec.
Now the problem is the pressure sensor that is just hanging in the engine bay now is not sending a signal and in turn stopping the injectors from firing.
I was hoping there would be a way of bypassing this problem, perhaps a short on the sensor or a 12v feed to the sensor or removing the next electrical component down the line... Ie a pressure sensor control unit? These are all guesses and im probably speaking nonsense.
Im pretty sure this conversion has been done before only i cannot find any information from previous builds on the net.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as the car is so close 2 being finished.

Oh forgot to add im running r1 bodies and omex 600 alongside the factory ecu.
