my 2000 (W) ford focus cut off randomly today and refuses to start, fuel is coming so pump nis fine but just wont start as if there's no spark, any ideas? tried fuel cut off switch btw.

 

have you checked for a spark?

 

As above, check for a spark, and don't assume that fuel is coming out of the injectors, it may not be.

hmm, showing all symptons of crank sensor, do they go often?

 

Usually when CPS you get no fuelling either not even pump.

hmm well h hear the fuel pump prime and ct off when pressurised. any other thoughts?

 

If you're hearing the prime, then it is getting a good CPS signal.

Check for a spark, if getting spark, then you narrowed it down a lot as you know it's fuel related, then need in that case to check fo a live at each injector, this live will be constant with ignition on, the earth is pulsed to open the injectors as needed, you really need to establish spark situation first, otherwise you will be going round in circles getting nowhere fast.
