Default engine dropped and few other qs...

The engine on my fiesta turbo has dropped on the drivers side, what would cause this and more important how do i rectify it? Seems problem after problem at the mo.

I think its called an amel valve but not sure, there is a pipe from the actuator in to it and its plugged into the loom, there is another little pipe coming of it but not going in to anything just the atmosphere is this correct? To describe its black and round, and located on the drivers side.

Also the oil breather is there any were thats meant to plug into or just get a little filter for it? And is there anyway to open it up to clean the inside?

Thanks a lot

if its the drivers side its the main mount that ya get to through the wing,

the amal valve should go from the turbo to the actuator

and the oil breather should be a sealed unit so ya cant clean it

is the wing welded on or bolted?

if ya jack the car up you should be able to see a 17mm bolt through the wheel arch for the mount, wings welded i wernt ment to put wing lol,
if its boosting fine then the pipe ya can see is probly the breather as the amal valve has 3 nipples on it

If the engine has dropped then most likely mounts are shot certainly don't want to be driving it like it, correct it is a Amal valve essentialy electronic boost control. The third pipe goes to airbox if you have one otherwise just vents to atmosphere.

If it's standard breather it goes to a kidney box which can be removed to clean etc on a Cosworth but can't be sure on your car, if it's aftermarket I.E Bailey tip up and empty out some even have a indicator on the side so you can tell. You have two connections on the breather both come from block but can vary, both should connect to breather.

Just to update sorted this, the screw that went in to mount droped because the bolt was missing, all sorted correctly now.
