Default CV joint/ clutch

Hi,

My car recently had it's clutch changed and the garage claim the cv joint has gone because of this. Does the cv joint have anything to do with the clutch or am I being taken for a fool?

cheers

Assuming it's a fwd car the driveshaft would need pulling from the box/engine on some cars.
This is not enough to break it, but it may be that it was already dodgy and they happened to notice it as they would be in a good position to flex the joint to make sure all is well.
It's the ideal time to have done as well if needed.

My fiesta 2002 tdci has now had new clutch, slave cylinder, master cylinder, and dual mass flywheel and still, if you pump the clutch pedal about 5 times the pedal gets hard and although in gear the car won't move. If you leave it for 10secs the car works as normal.

I'm confused, any ideas?
