Default Fuel Pressure Mod for S2 Turbo

Hi, nearly finished rebuilding my s2 turbo, and ive heard of a fuel pressure mod which can be done to the metering unit,

Im gonna be running 20psi when its run in, but cant afford better mangement yet!, so the KE Jetronic will have to do for now, but if the fuel pressure can be teaked it would be much helpful.

Any ideas who or where i can get it done and the benefits of doing it.

Im in the Norwich area.

Thanks

There are two places that can do it that i know of... SCC or Karl Norris
My choice would be karl only because ive used him before...
The advantages of having the fueling set is that you engine wont melt almost instantly when you accelerate with 20 Psi only dissadvantage is that your fuel bill will increase.. as although it will fuel correctly on WOT the car will run slightly rich on idle/part throttle... (not a very bad thing as it will cool the bores)

i think its just taking the fuel pressure actuator off the side of the metering unit and turning a screw, but its very sensitive.

The recalibration of the fuel pressure actuator is done by chipping the ecu is it not, the ecu controls how much it opens.

There is something you can do to the MFI unit by inserting/removing shims, cant remember off the top of my head what it is but it must be related to fuel pressure/flow therefore altering the mixture.

Will try and remember what it is.

No, you can't chip an ecu that has no chip to begin with. Here's a picture of the box layout:

The only chips in there are just analog operational-amplifiers nothing else.

exactly as Jesse says the fuel ecu has no chip in it as such and therefore it cannot be modified to increase the fueling.. the only mod that can be done to the ke-jet fueling is via the pressure actuator but as said this is VERY sensitive and if not done correctly you will prob end up with bore wash!

no not the mixture screw mate, something on the pressure actuator needs adjusting!
