hi all, a friend has a mk5 fiesta (zetec s shape) 1.3 ohv engine. has been overheating due to fan not kicking in. need to know the location of the thermo switch so i can bridge it to keep him on the road for now. any hel would be great many thanks aaron

 

Not sure on yours but on the earlier festas it was mounted directly on the thermostat housing, unless my memory is going again!!

yes i have looked... no joy. the only temp sensor i can find is on the power steering fluid curcit. a have actually got a new thermo switch ready to go on jus gota find out where the bugger is lol
