I slammed my front left wheel into the kirb skidding on the ice the other day and ever since my steering wheels been shaking violently at all speeds ever since. Anyone got any ideas?

 

Jack the front of the car up, spin the wheel, look down the side of the car, is it buckled?

 

bent wheel,bent hub,bent wishbone,track control arm,damaged steering rack just a few suggestions of things to check

 

I'd go with bent wheel first, as it's at all speeds, then also maybe even a bent tca, they do bend rather easy on some fords!!

you've prob bent the wheel. do you have steel or alloy wheels?

2 weeks after passing my test i was being a dick and slid my mums mk1 focus into the curb and buckled 2 steel wheels. was wll impressed with the car as everything else was fine, even the tracking!!!

steering wheel shook villantly though from the moment i pulled away.
