st170 brakes on a 70 bhp escort td van, overkill?
im thinking about fitting bigger brakes to my escort turbo diesel van its only 70 bhp , but im planning on modifying and tuning to 120 bhp+.
are st170 brakes overkill or would rs2000 brakes be enough.
i know im gonna get some stick over my power output (or the lack of it anyway) but what would you recommend and any guides on fitting??

you can fit the st170 brakes under 16's, just done it to my 2l focus.
not sure about under the cossy wheels though as someone i know said he had so shave a bit off the callipers to get them to fit but theres plenty of clearance under my oz wheels!!!!
they are defo worth fitting as i felt my 260mm standard werent enough for the 130bhp 1.25 tonne focus
if your not gonne be going for much more than 120bhp and not carying much weight then the rs2000 brakes with a good set of pads would be fine and save you money although if you abused them too much you may cook them...ie on track.
