Default MTX 75

Is there any difference between the standard mtx 75 and the 4x4 rs2000 mtx???

ie is it possible to fit an rs2000 4x4 transfer box to a normal mtx 75??

that s enough for me i think as i am going to convert my mk3 fiesta into a 4x4. my aim is to put either a 1.8l or a 2.0l zetec engine and i am willing to leave it natural aspirated so i guess it s hard to go over 200bhp

There is also the minor issue of the completely different differential and FD system. The best thing is to download the Ford document from the RS2000 site.

IIRC, the FD sends all the torque into the transfer box where its split to the rear and back again to the diff in the gearbox. Then the right hand driveshaft comes through the transfer box again. So 3 concentric shafts between the gearbox and transfer box.

Then allowing for the flimsy nature of the '95 system, why not look at the Jaguar Xtype 2.5/3.0. Didn't that use an MTX 4x4 ?
