ok guys, i`d appreciate a little advise and steering if you dont mind. i`ve got a 2wd saphire that i`m starting to build. was a 1800 cvh but i`m planning on running a pinto. i need to know whats involved in converting it to 4wd, what parts and from what car.
i`ve got a 4x4 rear beam complete on the car already but dont know what i need for the front end. would i be better off buying a dohc 4x4 as a doner car or will the sump and stuff not suit a pinto and therefore be forced to go cossy parts.
i`ve also failed to find any info on running drop gears in the box to lower the effective fd.

your help very much appreciated.
