Default Cost of boring Zetec block and modifying rods for C20LET pistons??

As above really, I'm not looking for huge power so i'm looking at going the C20LET piston route to keep costs down. Does anyone know roughly how much this work would cost to get done? Many thanks.

about £50-60 for a rebore and about £80 for the rods modified for the C20LET pistons to fit the gudgeon pins.

Thanks for the reply mate, thought I'd ask first to save getting ripped off by a machine shop.

I've now just read that early C20XE pistons are a better option due to a slightly higher compression ratio, meaning better drivability of boost? Can anyone sted some light on this? Thanks.

Using a CVH head, so using LET pistons will leave the CR at under 7:1 which I'm told is a bit low? Fine in a zetec though due to the smaller combustion chamber volume.

even late xe pistons will be fine if its for a moderate power application, they arent as strong as the early ones but are still good pistons
ive seen best part of 300bhp with them reliabley.

So the early XE pistons with 86p+++ are good for zetec turbo for less than 300bhp...
Are you sure?
What the CR with this pistons?

rebore £80 plus taking them there and back
rods modified £ 60
cost of xe pistons £40 -80 plus post.

clarke5700 is selling a set of proper zetec turbo pistons for prob similar money and they go straight on.....i know what i'd do.
