hi, i have a 2wd saff and when the weather is cold it dosnt like to start, when it does start it will idle low and stall, then the revs go everywhere and the amal valve is clicking like mad! then it will run on 3 for a while and pop sometimes? when the water temp gets to around 45deg it runs fine and i wont have any more trouble? ive cleaned the iscv and it seems ok, the car has a modified tb for als and its on a coilpack conversion l8 etc, any help would be great.

As it certainly seems to be temp related, I would first change the CTS, then when hot set the CO according to what the chip author says.
It would not hurt to check other things like plug gaps either.
It seems that it could be running very lean, well leaner than it needs to be anyway for decent start.
I would also check the fuel pressure.

A new cts sensor arrived in the post today, so ill pop that on and see what happens.

ive discoverd today that when the orange ice flake symbol is on it will run like crap, today it wasnt on and it started fine? no problems at all, i havnt done the cts yet eather.
