Hi all , I've been offered a 1400 Zetec out of a Puma as an upgrade for the Endura in my Rally KA , which is currently about 95bhp . The complete running gear , absolutely everything bar the bare shell and steering column is mine for a couple of hundred quid .
Is the 1400 basically the same shape and design as the 1800/2000? Same types of mounts etc?
Just trying to figure out how to mount it . Also does anyone know if my (KA) gearbox will bolt on , as it's been uprated and fitted with an LSD .

The class limit is 1450 cc , no forced induction.

1.25/1.4/1.6 Zetec SE's are compeltely different to 1.8 and 2.0 zetecs, if you wanted an 'off the shelf' option, you can buy mounts and stuff from trackdesigns., i believe your gearbox will fit but you may need to swap the bellhousing over.

I have seen the TrackDesigns kit... but I would like to make my own mounts if possible .

 

Not sure bout the gearbox pal, but if you need a different box ill buy your IB5 from you. Need one for my ZVH conv.
