Hello
What is the correct way in setting the base idle on a 4x4 cossie?
I have found mine to be hunting slightly.

Cheers

Graham.

Disconnect ISCV. Adjust bleed screw buried under the throttle body.
Set to 850-900 rpm.

HI,

After your base idle is set as above, put iscv plug back on may rise up a bit first
this is normal, and will function as normal afterwards.

Also the idle speed it so be set with the fans running at so may sit slightly high on an everyday basis but should never really be above 1000rpm when warm

HI,

Set base idle without FANS on as when iscv is connected any load ie elctrical
fans , headlight, etc ECU corrects idle, this is what its for, some cars are set with
fans on ie erst, but they dont have idle speed control valves,

Dave,
