Default 1600 cvh engine bores advice please

im building a 1600 cvh engine out of h-reg orion 50k genuine miles(i knew the lad and he had it from new)for hot fords,
the pistons have loads of slap/play, so ive ordered 4 BRAND new pistons and rings off ebay £30 plus £7 post BARGAIN
THE PISTONS ARE 0.03MM OVERSIZE could i get away with honing the bores or will it need a re-bore to suit new pistons, im currently out of work so trying to do it on the cheap, im a gardener at the moment so works slack, iv allways worked with cars and a good mechanic i know this sounds dodgy but would a hone suffice? or any ideas of cost of re-bore

hone should do for the bores, due to the oversize being very small the worn bores will still cause piston slap.
you should have got 0.5mm oversized pistons, then a rebore.
