Default HELP newbie here!!

hi guys new 2 this forum yesterday and was just wondering if any1 could tell me what are the 4 fill up boxes in a 1.3 ford ka engine?.. there is water...oil...power steering fluid..wat is the other 1 on the far right corner of the engine?...it looks like water?...but has 2 kind biggish tubes cuming from it? i have took a pic but cant up load on this pc...so idiot me has filled it up with water and i am sure it isnt water wat shall i do?...

it just has the manual book picture on it?.. when i put the water in it ..it looked orangey

sounds like the brake fluid reservoir,it should have metal pipes going to the wheels

The pipes coming off the reso m8 are not metal they are rubber?..what shall i do??

Diffucult to guess without actually seeing it, we have a KA the same as that and I can't tell you 100% what it is. IF it just has two big pipes comes off it i would guess thats the power steering bottle as it only has a supply and return. In which case i'm sure it would be ok to drive it as long as it's just a bit of water in the system, I'd describe to you how to drain it but TBH if you've done that it's not something i think you'd be confident undertaking. Does it have anything written on the cap or a symbol?

Hmm just read the replies since i posted, are you sure the pic isn't of a windscreen and wiper!

it has a book symbol on the cap? and the power steering 1 is named on the left side cap so it isnt the power steeering?...

the only one you didnt mention was the brake fluid cap?and it will have one of these
someone needs to put up a pic of a ka engine bay,then we can tell you what it is.

Going by this pic I just located, it's the coolant header tank at the far right, behind the strut top. Brake fluid reservoir inside that to the left behind the battery/airbox. Screenwash looks to be far left behind the other strut top.

I'm sure the Ka we have is different to that, it's a 1.3 duratec, depends what model it is i suppose. Maybe the pics of the bottles are helpful though as they are all a distinct shape.

it must be the water header tank, the other side is the screen wash.
